An NFT (non-fungible token) is a unique blockchain entry certifying ownership of a digital object — art, collectibles or game items.
The token proves assignment, not automatically copyright. After the 2021/22 hype most collections are worthless; the tech itself stays relevant for tickets, licences and gaming.
Does buying an NFT buy the image itself?
Usually only the reference to it plus defined usage rights — the collection's terms say exactly what.
