Phishing
In short
Phishing means fake websites, emails or messages designed to make you enter credentials or your seed phrase — the most common cause of stolen crypto.
Modern variants: fake wallet pop-ups, "support" staff on Discord/Telegram, poisoned search ads. Protection: bookmarks instead of search, hardware wallet, and NEVER enter a seed phrase digitally.
How do I recognize a phishing site?
Often not visually anymore — what matters: check the URL exactly, use bookmarks, never log in from links in mails/chats.
