Market order

In short

A market order buys or sells immediately at the best available price. Execution is guaranteed — the price is not: in thin markets you slide down the book (slippage).

Market orders pay "taker" fees and get expensive for large size in illiquid coins. Rule of thumb: market only when speed matters more than price.

Why did I get a worse price than displayed?

The displayed price covers only the top book level — your order consumed deeper, worse levels.
