Wallet drainer
In short
A wallet drainer is malware or a scam site that lures you into a malicious signature or approval — and then clears out your tokens. Unlike phishing, it does not steal the seed phrase but abuses a permission you granted.
Drainers are now rented as ready-made kits and spread via fake websites, airdrops or apps. A click on "Connect Wallet" and "Approve" is enough. Defense: read signatures, avoid unknown sites, revoke approvals regularly.
How do I protect myself from wallet drainers?
Do not connect your wallet to unknown sites, scrutinize every signature request, and regularly review and revoke token approvals you have granted.
